Job Description:
The Multimedia Analyst is responsible for matching performance data from a variety of sources to the appropriate work IDs in order to ensure that ASCAP writers and publishers are paid correctly and on time. In addition, the Multimedia Analyst shares the responsibility of processing performance data for upload into the PREP distribution stream.
Areas of responsibility/accountability:
Research and match performance data to work IDs in the PREP works module:
• Use a variety of resources to determine which work ID a performance should be matched to.
• Create new work IDs in PREP where appropriate.
• Identify, resolve and merge duplicate work IDs (i.e. ''possible matches'') accounting for conflicting share splits, sub-publishing agreements, mandates and other entitled party information which may be in conflict.
• Correspond with Repertory when appropriate.
Create and verify Radio and Other Surveys performance records:
• Enter radio station log data into APMS via manual entry.
• Enter Live Pop Concert performances into PREP.
Team Member
• Participate in special projects as necessary.
• Participate in end-of-the-quarter quality control checks, as directed by the RIOT Team Leaders.
Qualifications
and Requirements:
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Access).
• Comprehensive web-based research skills and problem solving ability.
• Knowledge of music is helpful, but not required.
