Finance Associate
Midtown Theatrical General Management company is looking for full-time help in their Finance Department to oversee and manage client accounts.
Responsibilities include bookkeeping for various productions (payables, receivables, paying bills), payroll, theatre settlements, credit card reconciliation, maintaining payment schedules per contractual commitments, royalty statements and payments and generating reports including profit and loss and cash flow.
Candidates must have experience with QuickBooks, a basic understanding of accounting principles, and know how to make journal entries. Good computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets, will also be required. Prior office experience is also a must, preferably in a theatrical business setting.
The office is very fast paced requiring several tasks being handled simultaneously, so being organized is a must, as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is expected.
