Armstrong Casting is looking for an Office Assistant. The person would be responsible for keeping the office in good working order and handling all areas related to managing the lobby during a casting.
Job Duties:
- Work with camera operator to make sure both studios are clean and in working order.
- Handle office maintenance and repairs. Finding vendors, scheduling and estimating. Shred, Janitors, Electricians,
- Notice, propose solution for and handle building upgrades. This might include waiting room seating, decorating, sound proofing, painting, etc.
- Keep the office calendar updated daily with job details.
- Keep kitchen and fridge tidy daily and check through out the day when we have castings going on to makes sure things are kept tidy.
- Order supplies.
- Order client snacks.
- Answer phones and relay messages.
- Keeper of vendors contacts and logins and passwords for all systems used in the office.
- Prepare casting paperwork.
- Run/manage the lobby on casting days.
- Schedule 2nd assistants when needed.
- Assist the Casting Director as needed.
- Run errands as needed.
Candidates must be:
- Punctual
- Have reliable transportation
- Be a hard worker and willing to stay until the job is done
- Be able to pay attention to detail
- Able to work in an often times fast pace environment
- Have some experience with Excel and Google
