Seeking responsible, reliable, organized people with an eye for detail for full-time assistant positions in a busy LA casting office.
Job would entail assisting casting director in all aspects of casting. Casting experience is a plus but not a requirement.
Please note this job requires long hours at an entry-level salary. May include weekends. Option to work a later shift.
Duties:
-Contact actors and agents directly via phone and email for auditions, fittings, and bookings. Create and edit spreadsheets.
-Provide clerical support to casting director
-Assist with research projects related to casting
-Applicants must have strong communication and people skills, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, proficient typist
-Previous job experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
-General studio management i.e. scheduling cleaners, stocking supplies, answering the phones, etc.
