Search for Sound Designer / Mixer jobs in Irvine-CA
The Sound Designer / Mixer is responsible for all sound deliverables in all stages of development, from pre-production to post production.
Sound projects include documentary films, PSAs, animations, immersive museum exhibits, and interactive media.
Duties include:
- Assisting in the creation of deliverables schedules and timelines
- Recording dialogue
- Recording custom sound effects
- Editing dialogue/SFX/music
- Mixing in 5.1, stereo, and custom environments
- Media management
- Selecting music pieces
- Exporting and archiving all contract deliverables
- Adhere to all deliverable schedules
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Collaborate with pre/post production team
Knowledge and skills:
- Pro Tools expertise is a must
- Familiarity with on set recording techniques (mics, field recorders, etc)
- Ability to read speaker layouts off of CAD drawings
