Position Overview
The Sr. Analyst is part of the small team at Anonymous Content (''AC'') responsible for financial planning, deal analysis, evaluation of strategic opportunities, and KPI reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across AC's three main divisions: Studio, Representation, and Brand, working with senior management in an entrepreneurial environment. Successful candidates will be motivated self-starters with superior quantitative and analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and extensive financial modeling experience.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and update corporate financial models, building GAAP and cash annual budgets, performing monthly variance and reforecasts
• Work with colleagues across Studio, Representation, Brand, Business & Legal Affairs, and Accounting to create forecasts, track performance, and communicate results
• Perform ad-hoc financial and industry related analyses to inform strategic decision-making
• Prepare individual television and film models / greenlight analysis to inform financial, production, and distribution decisions
• Work with management to evaluate KPIs; prepare dashboards and reports to track monthly variance analyses and performance of KPIs
• Support corporate development initiatives, including evaluating new business opportunities, potential capital raises and financing, and M&A and strategic growth opportunities
• Help with the preparation of quarterly / annual financial review materials or presentations for management and Board of Directors
Qualifications & Requirements
• 2+ years in corporate strategic planning or investment banking
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical proficiency, including significant financial modeling capabilities
• Self-directed, highly organized, and keen attention to detail
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with colleagues, management, and other third parties
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Adaptive and Intacct a plus
• Working knowledge of media & entertainment industry business models and accounting principles preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred
