Film/TV Department Intern
Amuse Group USA, the US operations of a leading Japanese entertainment company (BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, Perfume), is seeking motivated interns for the film/TV department at its Los Angeles office. The company annually holds the breakthrough Japanese content matching project, J-CREATION: A FIRST LOOK SHOWCASE, uniting Japanese IP and Hollywood producers and talent in their shared mission to adapt English language films and TV series. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to gain experience in development and the global entertainment industry.
Responsibilities include evaluating and analyzing material, writing coverage, conducting research, answering phones, welcoming guests, and helping other departments (music, talent, admin) as necessary.
Ideal candidates will exhibit a passion for story development, strong written and verbal skills, a ''no task too small'' attitude, and a genuine interest in film and TV. People who have knowledge of and interest in Japanese media/pop culture is a plus, but Japanese language skills are not required.
Interns must be available at least 2 days a week. For college credit only. Lunch/parking provided.
