Amuse Group USA, the US operations of a leading Japanese entertainment company (Your Name, Midnight Diner, Rurouni Kenshin trilogy) is seeking highly motivated interns for the film and TV department at its Santa Monica office.
Amuse Group USA also holds the breakthrough Japanese content matching project, J-CREATION: A FIRST LOOK SHOWCASE, uniting Japanese IP and Hollywood producers and talent in their shared mission to adapt English language films and TV series.
Duties:
Script coverage, research, and other duties including welcoming guests and cleaning up. Assisting other departments (music, admin) when support is needed.
Seeking individuals with a passion for story development, strong written and verbal skills, and ''no task too small'' attitude.
Must have a genuine interest in film/TV.
People who have knowledge of and interest in Japanese media and pop culture is a plus.
Japanese language skills are not required.
Interns must be available at least 2 days a week.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to gain experience in development and the global entertainment industry.
Unpaid; lunch/parking provided.
Candidates must receive academic credit to be eligible.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google and related work experiences are a plus.
College credit offer. Lunch and parking are provided.
