PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Part-time Production Office Assistant, Physical Production, First Year is responsible for supporting the needs of the first year Fellows in Cycle production, the Physical Production department, and office.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: -
• Support the preproduction process for all First-Year Cycle Projects to ensure AFI Policies are followed.
• Performing general office functions and administrative support. -
• Ensure all production paperwork has been submitted and is properly formatted by required due date.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance for First Year projects.
• Maintain the Outside Crew Database, and Production Resources website.
• Create and send surveys to all teams.
• Create and send weekly informational sheet to relevant stakeholders.
• Issue proof-of-attendance letters for Fellows and collaborators.
• Check daily paperwork for overtime.
• Book Production Meeting Rooms.
• Other duties as assigned. -
Requirements: - -
• Availability for 4 hours a day, 5 days per week (M-F), for a total of 20 hours per week. -
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. -
• Strong Mac based computer skills including Word, Filemaker, Excel. -
• Strong inter-personal skills; general office and communication skills. -
• Ability to deal courteously, effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of staff, filmmakers and outside parties. -
• Must possess strong organizational skills, be qualified in task prioritizing and time management with great attention to detail. -
• Internet savvy. -
• A self-starter. -
