Full Time Job
Responsibilities:
• Day to day management of video production staffing, equipment, technology, budgeting, and facilities
• Define and lead current studio expansion and future enhancement
• Oversee operations related to video post-production and distribution
• Manage video production that takes place outside the IMDb Studio, including on-location event coverage and projects that do not involve on-camera production
• Create and track production budgets, invoices, vendor setup, and other financial procedures
• Work across the IMDb/Amazon organization to ensure that production operations are closely aligned with business/creative goals. Key stakeholders include executive producers, Sales, Marketing, Editorial, and Social teams
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience designing, launching, and operating video production facilities for digital media content, e.g., (1) flexible studio stage space, (2) 1080p or 4K live control room, (3) audio tracking and mixing suites, (4) SAN/Live Transmission/Archive/Asset Management system room, (5) 4K post-production and color suites, (6) green-room, hair and makeup room/talent space
• Budget and project timeline-building experience and software expertise (e.g. Movie Magic, FastTrack Schedule)
• Project management experience
• Management of freelance staffers and vendors
• Familiarity with post-production (deep hands-on expertise not required)
• Familiarity with live streaming video production and delivery
