Sr. Product Marketing Manager - Prime Video

Prime Video is Amazon's online video entertainment destination, and our mission is to entertain and delight our customers in over 200 countries with an infinite selection of movies, shows and sports on their TV, mobile devices, and desktop. We always start with our customer experience in mind and work backwards to find the right solution. Amazon continues to expand our portfolio, from award winning Originals to a wide selection of channels like Paramount .
The Storefront Marketing and Customer Experience team within Amazon Prime Video works backwards from the customer's in-app, in-home experience. The team is the research and development (R&D) arm for customized in-app and 1st Party Surfaces experiences and this team drives the owned and operated marketing channel strategies that drive traffic to- and awareness of- these experiences.
We seek a polished product marketing leader to help define and market a new product that will bring digital media to the masses in a new, collaborative experience. This effort is guaranteed to push the boundaries of how entertainment is consumed. Given this is a new bet that can transform how digital content is consumed, we are doing our utmost to set it up for success from both product and marketing standpoints.
• Develop year-long marketing plans to drive awareness and adoption for a portfolio of advertising solutions tied to a key advertiser objectives, including defining the value proposition and messaging frameworks, and drive articulation of product portfolio positioning, aligned to our acquisition and engagement goals
• Drive product adoption globally across our entire device footprint, and develop recommendations for new growth initiatives
• Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers, studio partners, bizdev and competitive offerings
• Continually assess competitive offerings to ensure product differentiation and competitiveness
• Identify internal 1st and 3rd party research needs to support product positioning and marketing plans
• Guide the prioritization, development and implementation of case studies and research to communicate the benefits of our co-viewing solutions
• Serve as an internal advocate for customer needs; ensure broad awareness of, and empathy for, customer pain points
Qualifications
• 6 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
• Strong bias for data-driven decision-making and experience in distilling complex, analytically dense products into client-facing solutions.
• Demonstrated experience and ability in driving product positioning and messaging.
• Experience launching new products, and delivering adoption results.
• Ability to create compelling marketing collateral.
• Comfort with diving deep with highly technical products to understand value drivers for customers
• Ability to serve as a trusted advisor on the value of our offering to decision makers in advertising agencies, brands, and other marketers
• Effective executive communication style, as demonstrated in both written and verbal formats
