Amazon Music is looking for a bold thinking creative storyteller and a results-oriented Senior Creative Strategist based in New York or Los Angeles to elevate and grow editorial content across our channels, platform, and through rich customer experiences. Working with agencies, production companies, content producers, marketing, socials, UX/design, industry-outreach and other internal Amazon Music teams to ensure an impactful rollout for artist- and music-culture-focused content. The Senior Content Strategist needs to have a laser focus on the impact of content for both our customers and our artist & industry partners, how to translate that impact into measurable KPIs.
Responsibilities
include:
• Designing a strategy for the next generation of music content formats across video, audio, voice, and live
• Ensuring content strategy reflects org wide KPIs, is measurable, and works across key distribution channels
• Supervising the development of programmatic and bespoke editorial workflows across internal creative teams
• Helping to design creative production workflows both internally and externally with agency and production partners
• Utilizing mechanisms that improve content engagement and relevance globally, working closely with international teams to effectively globalize content
• Identifying new content distribution channels both on and offline
• Developing highly original content franchises that drive engagement with Amazon Music customers and artists
• Working in a cross functional manner to identify and build on content opportunities across Amazon
• Representing Amazon Music Editorial across the organization
This role can also sit in our Williamsburg Office
Qualifications
• 7 years experience as a creative or integrated producer, creative director, content strategist, or similar role with a media, music, production or Internet company
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Self-starter that can operate efficiently within ambiguous situations
• Demonstrated competency in cross-cultural communication and program building
• Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from creative stakeholders
