Amazon Music is going through a growth phase and is looking for a software engineer with experience building highly scalable services supporting artist experiences across multiple clients including Android, iOS and Web. As a software development engineer, you'll work independently and with other teams at Amazon to architect and develop backend services that will help bring Amazon Music's millions of customers closer to the artists they love.
The ideal candidate is interested in being part of an agile team, is passionate about innovating for customers, and has a track record of delivering new features and products. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills are absolute requirements. The role requires engineers with technical depth as well as strong hold on industry best practices, risk management, workload distribution.
Our team is focused on building a customer experiences that will build deeper relationships between artists and their fans on Amazon Music. These experiences will be delivered to millions of customers around the world, spanning our music apps, web player, and voice-forward audio engagement on mobile and Amazon Echo devices. We develop software in Java, JavaScript, and various AWS technologies. Amazon Music offerings are available in countries around the world, and our applications support our mission of delivering music to customers in new and exciting ways that enhance their day-to-day lives.
Qualifications
• 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C , or C# including object-oriented design
• 1 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Mobile development experience
• Passion for building great mobile app experiences
