Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon's Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.
The newly created Programming Strategy team is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join our Los Angeles-based group. This team owns the strategic perspective on overall programming and scheduling across Originals and licensed content on Prime Video through employing a deep understanding and analytics of customer cohorts, production schedules, and supply constraints.
Key activities:
• Contribute to Original and licensed content greenlight decisions
• Contribute to quarterly business reviews evaluating performance and trends in the previous quarter
• Generate or employ analytics to identify selection gaps in our forward-looking portfolio
• Run projects and programs aimed at engaging/delighting our audience
• Work closely with creative development team to direct areas of opportunity
• Author business-driving documents that surface key learnings and provide recommendations on our go-forward content offering
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• 5 years of experience delivering cross functional projects
• 5 years of experience in program or project management
• 5 years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
