Senior Digital Asset Manager, Prime Video
The Prime Video Global Marketing Operations team is seeking a Sr. Digital Asset Manager to champion the best use of asset management tools and taxonomy within Prime Video Marketing Genre Teams (eg. SciFi/Fantasy, Comedy, etc.). This role will be an expert in asset management and the flow of A/V, Print, Digital, and other assets from raw to work-in-progress to final archive and, ultimately, to delivery with an eye toward excellence in metadata and on partnership with global teams for delivery.
Digital asset managers at Prime Video Marketing work closely with Global marketing teams, Creatives, Producers, Campaign Managers, Launch Managers, and external agencies, with deep immersion into day to day operations. The Sr. Asset Manager will be expected to be hands on, highly familiar with art, a/v, and digital filetypes, and to have experience managing asset libraries within the marketing and advertising space.
The Sr. Digital Asset Manager will be assigned to a Genre Team to follow and consult on assets that are being crafted for US and Global launches. The role may also have cross-functional elements that fall outside of the Genre team, including (but not limited to) being the Center of Excellence for certain tools and workflows, administering access and setup of those tools, and working with product management on a backlog of optimizations.
The role will also set the standard for the consistent use of metadata and taxonomy within the Genre team. The Sr. Digital Asset Manager will be an excellent multi-tasker, managing projects with multiple deliverables in a timely fashion and ensuring deadlines are met across teams and key global stakeholders. They will also demonstrate strong ownership and bias for action, remain proactive with strategic solutions, and collaborate across internal teams with clear and concise communication.
The Sr. Digital Asset Manager is:
• The Sr. Digital Asset Management advocate for metadata, taxonomy, and local and global workflows within a Genre Team.
• A mentor, educator, and partner to the Global Marketing Team, including EU, LATAM, Japan, and emerging markets as well as Creatives, Producers, and Campaign Management Leads assigned within marketing Genre Teams.
• A quick learner - able to understand and follow stakeholder workflows rapidly.
• An enabler of team throughput through asset management excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing assets for our most complex Franchise and Tentpole endeavors
• Onboarding agencies onto Prime Video Marketing filename standards and cloud courier
• Sourcing 3P assets for licensed titles
• Providing vendors and partners access to RAW content
• Training Genre Team and partners on Asset Management tools
• Staying up-to-date on content security standards for sharing and tiering categorizations
• Setting up title folder structures, permissions, user access on Asset Management tools
• Setting up WIP workflow automations, as applicable to the title
• QCing, ingesting, and releasing assets to the Prime Video Marketing finals archive DAM
• Downloading/prepping links for leadership
• VAM metadata localization, metadata/avails submission, asset delivery into the Prime Video Catalog and working with Content Ops closely to resolve issues and ensure quality control
• Curating collections of final assets to global marketing partners
• Handling and resolving final asset search requests
• Managing internal user account creation and permissions, and perform routine user audits to ensure all users follow internal compliance measures
• Training and onboarding new users to the DAM system and assist with questions from existing users
• Partnering with post-production teams to ingest digital media and related documents to the DAM
• Developing and updating program documentations, wikis, and provide inputs to monthly or quarterly business review documents
Qualifications
• 5 years of creative services experience
• Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service, or studio
• Experience leading process improvements and/or operations tool implementations (e.g. digital asset management tool)
• Understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
• Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders
• Experience working with digital asset management tools
• 6 years of digital asset management experience working with an enterprise-level DAM system
• Bachelor's degree in library information science, digital media, archival studies, or similar experience
