The IMDb team is seeking an innovative, results-oriented Program Manager to oversee the custom advertising sponsorship program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can think strategically about the advertising business. The ideal candidate will operate on all levels while partnering with sales-marketing, video, social, editorial, operations, engineering, and Amazon Advertising teams. You will work with peers and business leaders across IMDb and Amazon to bring new advertising products to customers across the globe, execute one-of-a-kind sponsorship programs, and drive projects to improve the advertising customer and user experience.
The successful candidate will excel in the following areas:
• Highly analytical: Dive deep to understand IMDb's advertising business and its customers, use data to uncover insights, and champion new opportunities.
• Effective communication: Proactively communicate plans and accomplishments in both verbal and written narratives to ensure alignment with senior leadership and technical partners.
• Cross-Functional Partnerships. This role serves both external and internal customers. The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with all key stakeholders to drive results and continuous improvement on behalf of customers. Should be comfortable working with technical and product teams.
Key responsibilities:
• Oversee custom advertising executions across the IMDb eco-system.
• Define and drive custom roadmap to continuously improve offerings, automating where possible.
• Invent and refine process mechanisms to ensure smooth operational execution.
• Project management: Build schedules, invent processes, anticipate bottlenecks, define and deliver on milestones, and evaluate and make trade-offs.
• Develop and oversee evergreen training materials for campaign teams to improve client experience and drive renewals.
**LOCATIONS: This role can be located in Santa Monica, CA - or - Seattle, WA**
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 years of Program or Product Management experience.
• Experience working in the digital entertainment sector.
• 3 years experience in online advertising
• Experience with sales marketing and/or sponsorship's.
• Experience utilizing data and analytics to formulate program objectives, solve business problems, and drive process improvements.
• Bachelor's degree required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Media planning experience is a plus.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business counterparts to drive partnerships and initiatives.
• Solid understanding of the online/digital advertising ecosystem, including advertising metrics and how ads are bought, sold and delivered.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Able to use SQL.
• Experience using data visualization tools.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Proven track record of creating processes and improving tools that have measurably improved productivity, quality, or customer experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business preferred.
