Our team builds new experiences for Amazon Music listeners. We help our customers discover up-and-coming creators, while also having access to their favorite music and podcasts. We build systems that are distributed around the world, spanning our music apps, web player, and voice-forward experiences on mobile and Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa. Amazon Music products support our mission of delivering audio entertainment in new and exciting ways that listeners love.
Amazon Music's New Projects team is looking for founding marketing leader to establish and lead marketing activities for emerging audio products. You will work with a cross-functional team that includes Industry Relations, Product, PR, and executive leadership. This role will own all product brand, messaging, and communications – focused on driving customer awareness, growth, and retention.
This person will be responsible for developing zero-to-one product marketing strategy, including product/customer definition, customer messaging, branding, and distribution strategy. They will have extensive online/mobile product marketing experience, be able to formulate marketing initiatives that are deeply backed by data, and have experience of driving customer growth for a new app or business.

Qualifications
• 9 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 10 years of experience in product or audience marketing
• 5 years of experience in a marketing leadership role
• Experience with experimental and/or inventive marketing campaign design and execution
