Asset Management Coordinator
The Amazon Original Movies Post & Delivery team is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to help track and deliver all of our Amazon Original Movie assets. The Asset Management Coordinator will report to the Senior Delivery Executive and will be primarily responsible for Data I/O, metadata tagging of all assets, working in our asset management system and making sure all assets are properly archived. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with AWS archival and data transfer tools and workflows.
They will partner with both the Senior Delivery Exec and Delivery Exec on multiple movies to:
• Help ensure every file is delivered, organized and accounted for in our tracking systems.
• Update department trackers and work with senior team members to develop efficient workflows for file transfers.
• Assist with sending and trafficking DCPs for festivals and screenings.
• Sending video and audio files to various vendors or third-party teams as needed.
• Maintaining file metadata and ensuring that all files are archived properly within our asset management system and our AWS S3 storage.
• Update metadata and maintain organization within the filing system.
• Help assist internal teams who need access to content.
• Manage all administrative support functions, including meeting preparation, scheduling and PO creation.
• Assist with scheduling tech checks for special screenings and premieres.
The ideal candidate should be able to handle multiple incoming file assets across many movie projects a year, as well as helping to backfill titles with correct metadata. This role will have room to grow and expand existing workflows and develop Data I/O and tracking system as our studio continues to grow.
Finally, this role will interact with the Amazon Original Movies Post Exec team to assist in creating data ingestion workflows for their assets.
Qualifications
2 years of digital asset management and/or metadata experience.
1 to 2 years of experience with International and/or Domestic deliverables.
Studio, Freelance, or vendor post experience with fluency in post-production terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Box, Google Drive, Aspera, Media Silo and/or similar file transfer systems.
