We are looking for a Localization Program Manager to be part of the Production Strategy & Business Operations group. The team is responsible for developing strategy, tools, and processes to scale operations globally for WW Production & Post and includes product managers, program managers, business operations managers, and strategists. As part of the growing program management group, you help define and drive the localization operations roadmap with the WW Localization operations leaders. We dub and/or subtitle in 30 languages to make our content available to global customers in 200 countries.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial operations leader with a strong record of owning and driving strategic, cross-functional projects. You are passionate about helping content travel globally and understanding language preferences of worldwide customers. You are systems and process-minded and can analyze data and make sound recommendations in an often ambiguous environment. This job requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence change at all levels while working cross-functionally with both Amazon Studios and Amazon teams.
Key activities include:
• Develop short and long-term operational strategies to streamline and/or improve localization operations.
• Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve Originals localization program objectives.
• Prepare and present localization operating plans for business reviews with senior leaders.
• Deliver recommendations and/or operating plans for how to optimize localization spend, resources, and time.
• Develop and maintain key metrics that communicate the progress and of the operations against goals.
• Contribute to key business planning documents (e.g., QBRs)
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in program or project management
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• 7 years of experience, including program management at a top-tier tech company or consulting at a top-tier management consulting firm.
• Experience in analytics and/or delivering data-driven business recommendations.
• Demonstrated record of ability to prioritize complex issues and manage communications with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive short, medium and long-term goals.
• Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
