Head of Content Security Training & Awareness
Position Summary
The Amazon Studios Content Security team is seeking a newly created, Head of Content Security Training and Awareness leader to build, deliver, and scale innovative and creative training and adoption programs. Reporting into the Content Security Officer, this leader will oversee all initiatives relating to training and maintaining awareness of Content Security principles and services for both Amazon Studios employees and third-party personnel including vendors and contracted staff.
This leader will also partner with a range of teams and disciplines including the Heads of Amazon Studios Content Security & Protective Services, Amazon Corporate Information Security Awareness, the Amazon Studios Corporate HR Learning and Development team, and the Media & Entertainment Industry content security programs and standards of the MPAA, CDSA, and TPN.
Key Strategic Objectives
• Build and deliver strategies, methodologies, communications campaigns and training plans to raise the awareness of Content Security policies and services into all our employees, contractors and vendor personnel
• Develop a comprehensive Security Education and Awareness program, using instructor-led, train-the trainer, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia training methods and formats for our employees, contractors, executives and production personnel
• Create and scale regular targeted communications to Amazon Studios stakeholders on various content security related topics
• Provide strategic consulting in all aspects related to content security training for organization-wide initiatives and projects
• Lead the design, development and implementation of training programs of a broad organizational scope
• Conduct needs assessments to identify and evaluate training requirements
• Conduct or facilitate general or specific content security training programs
• Develop training materials to include training handbooks, job aids, models, multimedia visual aids, computer and web-based tutorials, and standard operating procedures
• Participate in effective training delivery including analysis, implementation, testing and documentation of educational systems
• Research and study advancements in educational technologies and methods
• Recommend and/or implement innovative solutions, modifications and enhancements to content security training and awareness programs
• Evaluate effectiveness of training and awareness programs, utilizing appropriate data collection instruments and procedures and adjust as necessary to maximize impact
• Consult and partner with corporate information security awareness, HR learning & development and other relevant peer teams
• Coordinate with security teams across the organization to ensure that content security education and awareness needs are aligned and satisfied for all stakeholders
• Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education
al Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practice experience in Technical Design, Communications.
Master's Degree preferred.
Experience
• 5 years of instructional design, technical training, or compliance training
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiar with ADDIE, SAM or other course development models
• Expertise with the Adobe Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
• Experience with translation or localization of content
• Experience managing and troubleshooting large-scale Learning Management Systems
• Proven ability to effectively deal with ambiguity
• Experience designing, writing content, and evaluating eLearning, job aids, video, or webinars
• Proficient with a variety of eLearning development tools
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design best practices
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently
• A passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences
