Principal Creative Executive, AI Studio – Live Action, Amazon MGM Studios, Culver City, CA.

The Live Action team within the AI Studio is seeking a Principal, Creative Executive to define and advance the production standards for GenAI live-action projects. This role is responsible for translating creative vision into high-quality, cinematic assets by combining world-class traditional production expertise with cutting-edge generative AI artistry.

Key responsibilities include pioneering end-to-end creative execution for the most complex GenAI production challenges; architecting AI-driven filmmaking workflows and long-term technical strategies; reinforcing aesthetic standards and quality control across all AI-generated content; serving as a top technical authority for pipeline resilience and security; and directing the R&D roadmap for new generative models and techniques. The role collaborates closely with Executive Producers, Directors, and Supervisors to integrate AI assets at the highest value while mentoring creative executives across the organization.

Qualifications include at least 9 years of creative executive experience, extensive collaboration across departments such as casting, production, research, PR, and business and legal affairs, and experience overseeing all creative aspects of development, production, and post-production. The role also requires deep production experience (15 years), mastery of industry-standard creative software and emerging GenAI platforms, exceptional visual storytelling and aesthetic judgment, and the ability to design and optimize complex, large-scale creative and technical pipelines.
