Reporting to the VP, Corporate Development in Los Angeles and the Head of Insight located in London, this newly created position will support all companies across All3Media America with audience and market insights that support the production process and drive commercial decisions.
Managing an online viewer panel, working closely with US-based production teams to provide audience feedback that informs development and production decisions. This may involve (but is not limited to):
•Drafting survey questionnaires;
•Analyzing survey data sets delivered in Excel;
•Preparing reports that translate survey results into actionable insights;
•Presenting findings face-to-face to senior stakeholders, providing specific recommendations where appropriate;
•Liaising with external panel agency and managing the survey schedule;
•Providing panel related information for international sales and marketing purposes
•Sourcing, analyzing and delivering market intelligence and TV ratings to production executives and sales teams in the US to support renewals and pitches
•Managing ad hoc research projects to inform and support the distribution and production business
•Working with the UK Insight team on global research projects as directed by the Head of Insight
Qualifications & Requirements
•A minimum of 5 years working client-side in a television research environment at a US broadcaster, studio or production company of scale, or agency-side managing content focused projects for TV clients
•Experience working with TV producers and/or developers and a good understanding of the industry challenges they face in the US
•Previous experience of managing online panels is essential, with the ability to write questionnaires, interpret data into insights and recommendations, and create reports that effectively communicate these to a non-research audience
•Previous experience of TV ratings software and an understanding of Nielsen data measurement
•Ability to confidently present to senior stakeholders essential
•Strong IT skills including in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Approachable and able to effectively communicate with people at all levels
•Attention to detail, particularly under pressure
•Ability to prioritize workload and work to tight deadlines
•Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
•Ability to work autonomously and have the confidence to make decisions
•Ability to confidently present insights to senior stakeholders across the business in face-to-face meetings or larger forums
•Occasional Travel required
