Content Production/Distribution Company seeks a dynamic, motivated Director of Sales to identify and cultivate new business opportunities and generate sales growth.
This telecommute position will manage and build relationships with top MVPD, SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, OTT, and non-theatrical content platforms. Secure placement and premier support of all products, both new and catalog. Drive digital initiatives and develop customer acquisition campaigns. Maximize the EST/TVOD and DVD revenue for partners. Develop digital marketing to drive media strategy and partner growth. Develop and implement marketing and sales initiatives using data analytics. Collaborate with Distribution team to set sales goals and analyze campaign results.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Comfort with research and occasional cold calling (will be fostering partnerships via phone and email)
- An understanding of the sponsorship space and creating value through partnerships
- Existing relationships with corporate brands and media agencies
- Experience in B2B advertising and sponsorships sales/integration
- Innate client-facing sensibilities, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect to a wide variety of audiences
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking and planning skills
- Confidence, enthusiasm and resilience!
Salary - Commission based with endless potential for growth and residual commission on secured accounts.
