Air Bud Entertainment (ABE) is a fully integrated entertainment company focused on producing and distributing family films. Our business model includes a full scope of activities including development, production, post production, visual effects and distribution.
We are looking for a motivated employee who is interested in gaining more knowledge of the world of entertainment. Because our company is multi faceted, there is opportunity to build a program for you that will help you learn more about what you are interested in doing. Candidates will work directly with CEO and President along with other heads of departments (CFO, CMO, Business Affairs, Sales & Distro, SVP of Production).
You will be privy to a wide variety of information that is confidential, so discretion and reliability is a must.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow on the corporate side of the industry while still being exposed to every facet of production.
This is an ideal job for someone who is a self starter and a go getter.
Duties include:
- Administrative tasks such as answering phones, updating record keeping systems, organizing and stocking all office equipment and stationary etc.
- Communicating with our Vancouver office to maintain a consistent and clear work flow.
- Maintaining schedules, coordinating meetings and booking travel for the President and CEO
- Office maintenance to include managing various grounds staff and opening / closing procedures of the Malibu Office.
- Maintaining the Google drive and updating all spreadsheets, bibles and lists where needed.
- Downloading and organizing digital media for review into our in house screening system.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Organizational skills to maintain the schedules and travel itineraries of the President and CEO.
- A professional yet personable attitude with proper phone and email etiquette.
- Focus, patience and determination with the ability to remain calm under pressure and multi task.
- Organizational skills to maintain office upkeep and keep records of systems such as Petty Cash and Purchase Orders. - Proficient knowledge of presentation and standard software (MS Office, Adobe, Photoshop, Keynote, Final Draft etc.)
- Eagerness to learn and insert themselves where needed. - Proficient knowledge of social networking/media
