APA PR seeks a full time Assistant Account Executive to support the agency's Public Relations division in Atlanta.
Candidate must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for PR, Entertainment and Television. The ideal candidate is a high-energy team player with strong communication skills that is exceptionally organized and motivated. This role will assist with day-to-day activities such as tracking client coverage, compiling media lists, conducting research for client reports, assisting at client events and pitching media. Candidate should be ready to interact with clients, journalists and all company team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
0-2 years of work/internship experience in PR, Journalism, Entertainment, Style and/or Beauty
Strong writing skills
Avid consumer of media across local and national news and social media channels
Strong attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Cision
