What We Are Looking For
Reporting to the Vice President/Head of Human Resources, the Human Resources & Recruiting Coordinator will support day-to-day HR operations in our Beverly Hills office. The position requires a communicative and thoughtful individual who can take initiative while learning on the job.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Point person for all internal and external HR related inquiries and assist with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Handle recruiting for administrative roles and onboarding for new hires.
- Provide assistance with answering phone calls and managing HR calendars.
- Provide backup approvals for the Director, Office Services in approving corporate credit card usage for department lunch meetings.
- Handle employment verifications for all employees.
- Conduct new hire orientation.
- Manage relationship between APA and Beverly Hills Marriott Parking, managing all parking lists, and assisting employees with issues/inquiries (i.e. lost keys, switching parking structures, etc.).
- Assists with processing of terminations, collecting parking and access cards.
- Assist in training new hires on Phone 101.
- Redirect calls and correspondence to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain records of employee data and ensure all employment record-keeping requirements are met.
Recruitment
- Serve as the point-person for all administrative recruitment at APA.
- Conduct kickoff meetings with managers, asking about preferences and desired experience.
- Develop, update, and post job descriptions and job specifications.
- Post open positions externally: LinkedIn, Entertainment Careers, Indeed, UTA job list, Staff Me Up, etc.
- Review resumes and phone screen candidates that meet the minimum requirements.
- Schedule interviews with hiring manager and/or hiring panel.
- Tracks status of candidates in the recruitment pipeline, continuously following up with hiring manager, and follow up with applicants who are not selected.
Education And Experience
- 1-2 years of professional experience working in Human Resources is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment preferred.
- Experience at an Agency or within the entertainment industry preferred.
- College degree from an accredited College or University required.
