The Agency for the Performing Arts (''APA''), one of the largest diversified talent agencies, is seeking a Client Payment Coordinator to join our Accounting team.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Accounts Payable- Process client payments, specifically for the Literary Department
• Accounts receivable - Commission collections, Generating Invoices
• Data entry - Maintain client information
• Prepare payment mailings and bank deposits
• Interact with clients and their representatives ensuring clear, correct communication regarding the status of payments
• General filing as needed
• Other accounting and clerical assistance to the Accounting department as needed
Qualifications
• Prior work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and 10 Key
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work under pressure and fast-paced with accuracy
• Self-starter who can take responsibility and work independently
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required in order to work well with customers & vendors; Strong people skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks as needed to accommodate changing department/company needs from day to day
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion
