Job Summary:
ABC7 Los Angeles is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnership Sales who will be responsible for driving ''non-traditional'' revenue across all KABC media platforms. Candidate will craft a compelling sales story, share it with passion, conviction, integrity and authenticity, close the deal, and deliver superior customer relations and service.
Responsibilities:
Develop new business and ''go to market'' strategies and tactics, including, but not limited to:
• Seeking out prospective new business categories, clients and agencies.
• Developing revenue goals for business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Presenting compelling proposals for clients and agency management.
• Working with the VP of Community Relations, identifying, assessing, and cultivating potential new revenue opportunities in the ''Cause Marketing'' and ''Corporate Responsibility'' sectors.
• Maintaining high-level relationships with new clients and current agencies.
• Ensuring project KPI's for station and clients are met/exceeded.
• Managing the day-to-day sales efforts of the Business Development Account Executive.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years' experience in media sales and marketing.
• Passionate about winning, and competing with unwavering integrity.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work with minimal guidance and being extremely proactive.
• Be a collaborative team member.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
