Freelance Writer - Strahan, Sara & Keke (WGA)
Job Summary:
Strahan, Sara & Keke has an opening for a Daytime position. Candidates should possess strong writing and research skills, control room proficiency, social media skills, and experience writing and producing live lifestyle segments for broadcast. Writers are required to produce copy for anchor reads, work with Senior Producers to develop questions for live interviews and contribute to the show's day of air segments. Candidate should have experience with writing lifestyle programming. Position requires flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Writers are required to produce copy for host reads, work with Senior Producers to develop content for live celebrity interviews and show continuity. This is a WGA position.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years work experience in cable or broadcast television
• Proficiency with Inews and Outlook
• Strong research and communications skills.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
