Job Summary:
ABC News is hiring a News Editor for DC/Politics Content (Freelance).
Responsibilities:
This editor will be responsible for line editing DC-, politics- and election-related content in coordination with ABC News Digital and the other DC news editors. The responsibilities include writing and editing breaking news pieces in coordination with the wider newsgathering division, including the politics team and DC teams.
This editor is also expected to coordinate with the senior editors and the teams responsible for videos, photos, social media and platforms -- exercising discretion on the accomplishment of tasks.
