Job Summary:
• The Screen Credits Administration Manager manages all aspects of screen credits for ABC Studios productions produced for network, cable, and streaming services.
• The Manager is responsible for ensuring all screen credit-related requirements are in compliance with the Guild, Network, and Studio.
• This person will interface directly with Business Affairs, Legal Affairs, Production, Post Production, Casting, Labor Relations, Creative Executives, and externally with the Labor Guilds. Possessing interpersonal skills and deftness in conversation is vital.
• The Screen Credits Administration team is part of the Walt Disney Television Labor Relations team, and the Manager reports directly to the Director of Screen Credits Administration.
Responsibilities:
• Liaise across ABC Studios, Post Production, Network, on issues related to screen credits and titling.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the WGA, DGA, ADG, and Editors Guild on a variety of titling and screen credit issues.
• Troubleshoot any issues, requests, problems, and/or needed corrections related to screen credits and titling.
• In charge of managing credits on assigned television series and all aspects related to the screen credits and titling of shows, including:
• Building a screen credits document from contracts/documents generated from Business Affairs, Legal Affairs, Production, Post Production and Casting.
• Submitting the WGA's Notice of Tentative Writing Credits. May be asked to analyze pilot notices for writing credits determination.
• Preparing WGA arbitrations for writing credit disputes as required.
• Working with Guilds (DGA, WGA, Editors Guild, ADG, Local 600, etc.) in obtaining any and all related screen credits waivers.
• Distributing approval drafts in a timely manner for Studio/Production/Network approval.
• Uploading final approved credits to Scenechronize for publication and titling.
• Responsible for general office support duties.
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with minimal supervision
• Desire a collaborative team building environment
• Effective concise verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to read, interpret legal contracts and guild basic agreements in regards to screen credits
• Interact effectively with Attorneys, Production and Post personnel of all levels
• Ability to remain calm and think strategically in stressful, fast-moving environments and situations
• Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to exercise appropriate judgment in executing tasks
• Ability to handle time-sensitive projects on a daily basis
• Must be able to handle a heavy workload
• Demonstrate a detail oriented, flexible and ambitious attitude to assume challenges and increased responsibility
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with databases like Citrix and Scenechronize
• Experience in a moderately high pressure office setting
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with databases, Scenechronize a plus
• Television and/or Feature screen credits and/or Guild work experience desired
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
