As part of the Market Research & Analytics team, we are responsible for Worldwide Market Research for all content produced by Walt Disney Studios, including movies and TV series distributed in theaters and on Disney . We are charged with finding the best methods to understand our customers' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We do this in pursuit of making our films and series the best they can be and shaping marketing campaigns that will surprise and delight fans around the world. As part of the Studio Research & Analytics team, you will join a dynamic group of professionals who love TV and movies and who are passionate about bringing the consumer voice into studio decision-making every day.
Our team has an open position to provide overall administrative support for the executives of the team and other team members as needed, including but not limited to, answering phones, maintaining busy calendars, and scheduling day-to-day meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Primary contact for all incoming phone calls and communications (both mail and email).
• Meeting coordination; logistics, invitations, preparing materials, and taking meeting notes, as needed.
• Calendar Management; coordinate travel, long range planning, and day-to-day meetings.
• Assist executive team in preparing for meetings, calls, presentations, screenings, focus groups, and more.
• Preparation of all business-related expenses, ensuring expense reports and invoices are completed and filed in a timely manner.
• Compile and distribute agendas for meetings and calls led by the Studio Research & Analytics department
• Order supplies/materials and process invoices where necessary.
• Partnering and working extensively with internal departments and external vendors to provide and/or receive necessary information, materials, approvals, updates, etc.
• Support departmental projects as needed.
• Troubleshoot occasional facility issues.
• Additional duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Positive attitude and importantly, the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible.
• Able to handle a varied range of personalities, responsibilities and assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills to assure successful interaction with senior executives, business unit contacts, and key external partners.
• Able to make independent ain the handling of sensitive and confidential information while exercising good judgment and discretion.
• Detail oriented with superior organization skills.
• Competency in general administrative skills including answering the phone, filing etc. Excellent competency in typing/spelling with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Outlook. Technology literate.
• Ability to work overtime when special projects dictate.
• Must have a passion for film and television, and an interest in entertainment marketing.
• Interested in market research and pitching in on assignments outside of admin duties.
• Team player - willing to work with other assistants and staff at all levels in support of the theatrical team in Burbank and worldwide.
• Organized in thinking and execution to maintain efficient office, files, database, and information.
• Ability to multitask with urgency.
• Exceptional organizational and follow-thru skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience
