The Hive team manages and develops best-in-class creative marketing assets in support of our Global Theatrical and Disney releases. The Hive supports Theatrical Marketing and Creative Content Distribution, and collaborates with all other creative partners across the Studio.
The Hive is seeking a Business Operations Manager to manage day-to-day operations, production workflow, and special projects.
Responsibilities:
• Apply an extensive knowledge of production and creative insights to ensure the optimal assignment of available resources towards priorities and projects.
• Partner with The Hive leadership, Producers, Finance and HR to strategically manage team resourcing and asset needs.
• Track and monitor Editor availability.
• Project manage various aspects of the Hive active projects and projects archive. Track status details for hundreds of spots, manage project expenses and billing with producers, finance and payroll teams.
• Act as the primary conduit between Legal and the Hive, managing contracts and agreements.
• Spearhead meetings by developing agendas, meeting notes, feature/interview transcripts, pitch decks, etc.
• In partnership with HR, prepare onboarding plans and processes for permanent staff and daily hires.
• Build out the Hive's internship program to ensure a comprehensive and meaningful opportunity for future talent.
• Partner with production and HR to provide creative learning opportunities to continually challenge and develop those within The Hive.
• Oversee Hive submissions to various industry award ceremonies.
• Process non-union voiceover artist paperwork with producers/legal/VO agency.
• Plan office events/team building activities for 40 person team.
• Manage special projects as needed.
• Establish relationships with various levels of the organization to understand unique needs and challenges.
Basic Qualifications:
• 4-5 years industry experience is a plus
• Exhibit a creative mind with strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and drive results through internal partnerships
• Expert project management skills with a track record of driving results-well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate resilience, adjusting quickly to shifting priorities and ambiguity
• Strong, concise oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with senior leadership and team members
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
• Self-directed with proven leadership and team development skills
• Ability to maintain the highest standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters, documents, and verbal and written correspondence
• May need to work nights and weekends during high volume periods for the Hive
• Proficiency in the following software: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Zoom
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience working with trailer houses or creative agencies
