Job Summary:
ABC News is hiring a Broadcast Technical Specialist.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include support for general Engineering projects within ABC News and ABC TV Network. The individual would be a liaison between Engineering and production, helping to install new systems and mange existing applications. There would be significant follow through on projects where the individual may potentially wind up being the system administrator on production systems. Additional responsibilities would include facility documentation, cable path documentation, asset procurement and disposal as well as interface with assembly and technical support groups.
Basic Qualifications:
Requirements include experience in technical production operations and facilities, including both Post and Live applications. Experience with dynamic production workflows as well as experience in deploying and managing applications in a production environments is very important. Experience with Autocad, Visio or other documentation programs as well as knowledge of broadcasting and IT equipment and existing standards is a significant plus.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
