Associate Producer, Special Events (ABC News)
Job Summary:
ABC News is hiring an Associate Producer for the Special Events Unit.
Responsibilities:
The Associate Producer works closely with the Senior Executive Producer of Special Events and the entire team, contributing to all of ABC News' breaking news coverage as well as the planning and producing of all major news events. They are expected to perform graphics production, research, script writing, booking, video editing and social media curation as well as all administrative tasks for the department.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be extremely organized, fluent in iNews and able to juggle several simultaneous long term projects while also handling daily breaking news
• The position also includes working in fast paced control room environment and being on call 24/7/365.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in News
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
