Position Title: Music Booking Intern
Company: A Mighty Lamb Production is a community driven live music production company that showcases the hottest emerging artists and bands in LA, NYC and London's most appealing and iconic music venues.
Role: This internship will serve as direct support to the Talent Booker. The talent booker is responsible for coordinating and executing events and showcases. Intern will be responsible for scouting and booking London based bands. Intern will have to meet weekly deadlines, turning in compilations of bands for booking to the talent booker. This role will also require attending weekly showcases to assist with event operations and artist liaison services. Events will take place at different venues across London. The team strives to ensure all events are rewarding and memorable for performers while creating a great experience for audiences.
Location: London, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
Assists in artist booking and outreach, helping the company in its goal of creating diverse and interesting line-ups
Attend weekly showcases to assist with event operations and act as artist liaison
Responsible for all pre and post-show communications with artists
Update website to reflect upcoming line-ups
Assist Talent Booker with related tasks and assignments as needed
A Mighty Lamb Production is looking for an ambitious and creative team member who puts forth the drive to achieve goals and exceed them. We are looking for a well rounded person who thinks outside of the responsibilities listed above.
Skills and Competencies:
Proven interest in music, art, live events, or music festival culture
Well versed in the London music scene
Well organized, process driven and detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Comfortable working to strict deadlines and solving problems under pressure
Able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects
15-25 hours per week
Proficient with Google Sheets, Docs, Drive and other web-based tools
Eager, moves quickly, and takes initiative
Proficient in English
Must be 18+
Inernship is unpaid. Must be able to receive college credit.
