Full Time Job
Manage the infrastructure staff across all domestic locations in building and maintaining the media centric infrastructure. Major areas include:
• Production/Broadcast Network
• Storage facilities
• VM/Serve farms
• SDI Video systems
• Cloud Architecture
Liaison with Technology Infrastructure and the Security office to ensure that corporate best practices including security and disaster recovery are maintained
Provide budget planning and business justifications for capital projects
Coordinate with the heads of Sustaining Engineering and Enterprise Media Systems on project requirements and delivery timelines
Maintain awareness across advances in industry technology
Manage and develop vendor relationships in support of current and future initiatives
Provide subject matter expertise during research/review/recommend consulting with external departments
Maintain all facility documentation including drawings, run books, change management
Identifying new technologies for media transformation workflows, and scaling them to fit within the AETN structure is an ongoing responsibility.
Assist in disaster recovery plan systems for New York, Stamford, Glenbrook and Danbury operations that will align our resources with other AETN facilities. Qualification Requirements Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to discuss complex technical issues with non-technical personnel
• Knowledge of, and experience with, media centric IP networks
• Knowledge of, and experience with, SDI video networks
• Forward thinker and innovator
• Ability to work in a change positive environment with re-prioritization as a constant

• Cultivate a culture of a value added enabling partner, as opposed to a support organization
Educational Requirements A.A.S. in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
Media centric IP based content workflow ecosystem
Cisco Certifications on Routers/Switches
3-5 years supporting file based production facilities
3-5 years supporting IT network facilities Other Skills and Knowledge The position requires a candidate with knowledge of both the traditional Production Engineering skills as well as a higher level of understanding and experience in the IT disciplines. Strong management and leadership skills are required for the fulfillment of the position's responsibilities. He or she must be innovative and show initiative in managing the staff and projects. The ability to communicate with staff and management across all departments in a professional and positive manner is essential. He or she must be able to work in a mission critical environment where priorities change frequently and that the fulfillment of these aligns with the engineering department's mission statement of ''To assure that the evolution of Technology is leveraged as an enabling factor in accomplishing the company's goals across the globe'' Company Overview: TBD
