THE ROLE: Technology Communications Specialist
In this role, you will support the communication of technology changes across the corporate offices with a primary focus on written content and secondary focus of graphic assets. Be responsible for supporting change initiatives through your expert communication skills and insights. You will also be responsible for understanding project goals, audience behaviors, and best practices in Commnications in order to best communicate change. Collaborate with various Technology Business Partners, Business Partners, and Organizational Change Lead to ensure proper understanding of and execution on communication needs. Assist building the delivery calendar with the Change Lead as new initiatives are requested.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Technology Communication Specialist at A E Networks, your core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Content creation across various platforms, including intranet, website, social media, video
• Creating multiple pitches on how to approach the creation of specific content
• Writing content such as organization-wide announcements, project features, internal social media buzz, trend pieces, and other assignments
• Create micro-sites using WordPress
• Creative layout design in a variety of platforms
• Editing and proofreading
• Assisting in content strategy development
• Reporting progress and demonstrating excellent time and resource management
• Communicating new ideas through a variety of mediums
• Attending meetings and producing actionable meeting minutes
• Collaborating with business clients and coworkers to achieve client/project objectives
• Juggling multiple projects with shifting targets

Finally, you'll be exposed to various A E departments and stakeholders to learn the goals, needs and direction so you can become a trusted partner.
YOUR STORY: [ BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• 3-5 years of experience in communication-related field applying written communication skills
• Ability to customize tone, language, and formatting of written communications based on audience, medium, and project objectives
• Ability to apply creative approaches to communications
• Exceptional listening skills
• Curiosity and passion to meet unmet needs of end-users, team members, and stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of uncertainty
• An eagerness to learn new skills and develop a breadth of capabilities
• Flexibility and willingness to take on new roles and responsibilities outside of specified role
• A high tolerance for with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a self-directed culture
• A willingness to learn from diverse perspectives and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams.
• The ability to frame problems and present results to an executive level audience
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software as needed
• Experience working in multiple mediums preferred, such as video, web, and print
• Expertise in the following is required: Photoshop, iMovie / Camtasia
