Full Time Job
Provide sales support and help manage day-to-day digital business for A E Networks digital distribution (EST and Amazon Channels SVOD platform).
In addition to partner relations, the Director, Digital Licensing will also be responsible for assisting in developing and executing sales and marketing initiatives to meet financial and mission-based goals.
This position reports to the VP, Digital Licensing and has contact with all levels of management as well as multiple finance and accounting personnel within A E Networks.
• Act as point of contact for EST partnerships (Amazon, iTunes, GooglePlay, Sony, Microsoft, Vudu, and Comcast) as well as assorted third parties in emerging markets. Oversee deliverables process of all video and artwork assets.
• Coordinate with internal departments to identify, track and update specific title rights and availability on a territory-by-territory basis; oversee execution of availability and other notifications as designated in contracts.
• Manage the EST digital release schedule for A E brands, ensuring cohesion among the various territories, digital retailers, partners, and internal departments.
• Manage the Amazon Channels (Lifetime Movie Club and History Vault) SVOD digital schedule in the US territory. Oversee deliverables process of all video and artwork assets.
• Oversee monthly and seasonal promotional opportunities with digital partners.
• Assist in the execution of new digital partner launches and international expansion. Oversee deliverables process of all video and artwork assets.
• Assist VP in yearly budgeting process and quarterly forecasting for EST business.
Qualification Requirements
• 4 years in a managerial role or demonstrated managerial skills a must, preferably as it pertains to digital content
• Knowledge of and understanding of digital/on-demand distribution
• Highly organized, detail-oriented person with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal/client relationship and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Experience working with multiple divisions/partners/clients and managing those relations
• Must be familiar with Excel and EMA Avails templates, understand how to navigate a database and be able to create presentations in PowerPoint
• Demonstrated experience in working within formal/informal team environments
• High energy level, self-motivated and take-charge attitude
• Travel required
