THE ROLE: Post Production Operations Specialist (Temporary)
The Post Production Operations Specialist works within the larger Post Production team, in support of all internal content creation; with a focus on enterprise and ancillary content trafficking, and scheduling and administering the resources and workloads associated with said trafficking.
Shift: 12-830p or 5-130a, TBD; with general flexibility for time off coverage

Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
Working with Project Supervisors, producers, fellow Operations personnel (assistant editors, editors), and divisional partners to ensure the timely ingest and delivery of content in and out of the internal post facility. Such as:
• Maintaining the daily load list, for the ingest of all AVID and Premiere content, and liaising with requestors and assistant editors to execute ingests in a timely and efficient manner; and/or managing overall workloads and/or expectations as needed
• Including obtaining physical and virtual source assets from the Stamford library, or elsewhere
• Maintaining the daily deliverable list, for the delivery of all promotional and programming content to linear and non-linear, and other, outlets. Liaising with requestors, fellow Operational personnel (editors, assistant editors), and end users to ensure complete and timely delivery of all necessary content; and/or managing overall workload and/or expectations as needed
Manage post production ''utility'' projects, and administer related personnel, that fall outside of the standard content creation workflows; such as prepping content for archive, reformatting legacy content for new types of deliverables, etc.
Assist Manager in longer-term scheduling operations for staff and freelance facility personnel; accounting for content creator crewing preferences, general facility support needs, and varied crew availabilities (including the review and approval of crew time off requests)
Assist Administrator in weekly crew and finance administrative duties, such as: vetting payroll entries, processing invoices, and preparing scheduling and billing data for weekly and monthly financial reports

YOUR STORY: [ BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• Minimum 1-2 years in a high-volume post production environment, in support of generating and delivering content for linear and non-linear outlets
• Ability to manage multiple, and varied, projects at one time; via effective time management and a strong personal work ethic
• Consistently maintaining a personable and professional demeanor, even during stressful situations and when dealing with difficult business partners
• Ability to effectively work within a team, and autonomously; switching between the two as needed
• Having an affinity for process and workflows; but also understanding the importance of improvisation when needed
• A working knowledge of post-production editing and storage systems, namely AVID and Adobe Premiere, and standard industry file formats; experience with AVID MCUX and Interplay-Interplay Archive a plus
• Proven experience working with workload management programs such as Xytech MediaPulse, ScheduALL, Airtable, Google docs, etc.
• Experience in working with post production crew schedules and scheduling, and a working knowledge of general scheduling practices
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed; including adjusting shift times and working overtime to provide adequate coverage for the department
