THE ROLE: Manager International Revenue Planning & Analysis
The Manager International Revenue Planning & Analysis will assist the Director International Revenue Planning & Analysis in the day-to-day operations of the department. Position will be actively involved with the budget & forecasting process; ensuring the Jaguar contract database is accurate and up to date; reconciliation of data; and the performance of special projects.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Revenue planning & analysis – assist in the preparation of the revenue budget and reforecasts; identify risks & opportunities; and monitor impact of foreign exchange currency fluctuations on revenue. Additionally, assist in the reporting and reconciliation of monthly syndication revenue by genre
Revenue accounting – Review of billing schedules; determine accuracy of revenue recognition of sales contracts; monthly reconciliations of accrued & deferred revenue to Jaguar system; review revaluation of A/R accrued & deferred revenue for accuracy; reconciliation of Jaguar/ SAP interfaces; assist in the monthly intercompany account reconciliation process; etc
Jaguar/ SAP IRP database management – ensure Jaguar & SAP IRP databases are up to date to facilitate timely and accurate revenue analysis; reconcile monthly ledger to master sheet maintained by sales finance managers
Syndication Representation Deals – Ensure all syndication representation deals are properly set up in Jaguar so these contracts accurately account for revenue, liability to licensor, withholding taxes and related deductible expenses
Trademark accounting – Set up and maintain trademark deals in the Jaguar system to ensure these arrangements are properly accounted for
Sales administration – entering & maintenance of program sales deal memos into Jaguar/ GPS system; run sales reports; address special invoicing requests; maintain monthly Channel Partner order (status) reports
Accounts Receivable Collections Support – provide support as needed to the A E Collections and Invoicing Departments. This would include identifying problem accounts, helping resolve billing discrepancies, reviewing contracts, liaising with sales coordinators and continued support through successful collection of outstanding amounts due A E
IT/ Special Projects – special projects as required such as: ensuring channel partner agreements & orders are tracked in Jaguar on a deal by deal basis; assist with the enhancement of the Jaguar revenue system to increase the overall efficiency of the Revenue Planning & Analysis Dept; assist with the implementation of the new revenue recognition standard to the International Division; completion of audit requests; assist in the migration of Jaguar System to Filmtrack

YOUR STORY: [ BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• BA/ BS in accounting
• Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in public or private accounting
• Strong analytical & communications skills with in-depth knowledge of revenue recognition accounting principles.
• Needs to be able to analyze and reconcile account activity and communicate issues, if any.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Will need to communicate effectively with other departments.
Desired:
• SAP working knowledge
• Prior experience working with contracts.
• Media & Entertainment experience
