Manager, International Content & Localization (3rd Party Payroll Worker)
THE ROLE: Manager, International Content & Localization (3rd Party Payroll Worker)
Responsible for ensuring that workflow processes for International content, specifically localization, track buybacks, and other designated client priorities, are flowing smoothly through the pipeline. Acts as an ambassador and information conduit with programming, acquisitions, scheduling, production, fulfillment, channel partners and A+E Studios, ensuring that International needs are met.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Manage supply chain for all International priorities across internal teams to ensure content is available for timely fulfillment of client orders.
• Keep abreast of program strategy and status:
• Attend key programming strategy meetings and calls.
• Maintain open communication with US production and programming teams
• Ensure the supply chain is moving on schedule to meet client deadlines:
• Coordinate with Fulfillment to identify client program priorities across regions, as well as day and date series, Lifetime movies and scripted, International co-productions, and global tentpoles.
• Coordinate with Acquisitions and Production on any issues that might delay delivery to clients and coordinate with the global scheduling team to prioritize formatting sessions.
• Liaise with Acquisitions, internal TE and Production regarding rejected materials and their timely replacement.
• Supervise Localization workflows and high-level projects
• Oversee all Lifetime movie foreign language dubbing. Maintain monthly QC tracker to estimate how many movies be entering the pipeline, and vendor assignments and PO distribution.
• Provide feedback to sales team and Fulfillment on availability, specs and costs of track buybacks required for sales and SVOD deals.
• Run weekly Localization project tracking meetings, to make sure all dubbing, subtitling and buyback requests are on schedule.
• Oversee tracking of program updates, legal holds, content updates, and the arrival of local productions.
• Work with International Production to move all updates through the production pipeline as quickly as possible. Ensure that relevant information is communicated to the fulfillment team and their respective clients.
• Ensure that a consolidated tracker of updates from legal, Programming and US Production is kept up to date.
• Liaison to channel partners and key sales clients on program priorities, localization and content delivery.
• Review need-by dates requested by channels in early release emails sent by programming and provide feedback on availability dates.
• Provide oversight for dubbing and subtitling projects.

• Strong knowledge of post production and localization workflows
• Knowledge of localization requirements across territories
• Ability to trouble-shoot technical and workflow issues that could impact client broadcast dates
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities
• High degree of leadership and professional presence. A poised and diplomatic ambassador for international business needs with the ability to work collaboratively and foster consensus amongst other internal teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple timelines, handle conflict resolution, and work well under pressure
• After hours availability as needed
