THE ROLE: Manager, Compensation
The Manager of Compensation reports to the Sr Director of Total Rewards, and manages the communication, implementation, and administration of A+E Network's compensation plans, including year-end compensation planning, long-term and short-term incentives, job evaluations and participation in salary surveys.
• MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Manage the job evaluation process and provide compensation recommendations to People Partners.
• Participate in annual salary surveys and review and update salary structures.
• Manage the configuration and administration of global year-end compensation processes on the Workday platform (merit, promotions, and annual incentive awards).
• Manage the creation of online Rewards Statements through an external provider.
• Draft communications around compensation plans and the year-end process.
• Monitor and review executive contracts for payment terms.
• Manage participation in the Long-Term Incentive Plan and create and distribute annual grant agreements.
• Maintain and audit compensation data in Workday.
• Generate ad-hoc reports, compensation modeling, and analysis as necessary.
• Provide education to employees around compensation plans.
• Collaborate with HRIS Team and/or other People Team members to improve HR processes.
• Participate and contribute to ongoing Total Rewards initiatives and People Team projects

• Bachelor's Degree with 4-6 years of progressive compensation and human resources experience.
• Workday experience preferable.
• Strong project management skills to proactively manage deadlines and organize and prioritize deliverables.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Solutions oriented with the ability to interact on a consultative basis with People Partners, managers, and employees at all levels.
• Ability to both work independently and partner with the Sr Director of Total Rewards on compensation initiatives.
• Work well in a team environment and be open to assist with projects outside of the Compensation function.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a sensitivity to confidentiality.
• Knowledge and experience with state and federal labor laws (FLSA, minimum wage requirement, etc)
