Live Producer- Post Production (Temp)
THE ROLE: Live Producer, Post Production (Temp)
A+E Networks prides itself on innovative storytelling that resonates with audiences and makes a difference in their lives. As a producer of Live content, you'll play a vital part in helping our audience access our content wherever and whenever they want to experience it. This freelance role is based in our Stamford, CT facility and reports to the Supervising Producer of Live Production.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Excellent organizational and planning skills – You're an energetic and proactive self-starter who can multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-past live broadcast environment. You have excellent attention to detail to ensure segment timings and metadata are accurate and S&P notes are comprehensive as you modify live broadcast content for encore airings and non-linear distribution.
Fantastic communication skills – You're able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, studio production techs, S&P, editors, engineers and other key stakeholders to keep workflows on track and ensure mastering standards and deadlines are successfully met. You navigate conversations with tact and diplomacy and remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility, collaboration and teamwork – You pivot quickly when unforeseen challenges arise and remain flexible when collaborating with partners to implement solutions. You take a forward-thinking conscientious approach to your work and contribute to improving live post production workflows.
Strong technical foundation – you understand the technology used to support live broadcasts and post production, including video and audio standards and file formats; and are comfortable working with producers and editors in a fast-paced Avid-based post production environment.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
As part of our post production team, you will have exposure to all the inner workings of what it takes to get our content out the door and to viewers around the world. You will learn our post production process from beginning to end, interacting with various internal and external partners.

• BA Television Production/Communications
• 1-3 years' experience in live production/post production
• Experience with state-of-the-art audio and video post-production techniques and systems is required
• Experience working in a file-based production environment
• Availability to work nights and weekends required
