A E Networks is not in the television business. It's in the storytelling business. Our job is to bring consumers new ways to experience those stories. We get up every day excited to discover new talent, narratives and characters, and live for any chance to shepherd a great idea through development to air.
THE ROLE: History Programming - Summer Internship 2019 (Los Angeles)
Must have maturity & discretion as intern will have access to competitive information regarding project development and talent. Duties include:
• Covering phones
• Coverage of scripts, books, and other materials
• Managing submission & pitch logs
• Completing ad hoc requests pertaining to research, casting, the scripted and unscripted landscape, etc.
• Assisting in communication and process flow of the development, production, and post production of scripted & unscripted series
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Intern will be expected to do some coordinator duties, plus coverage of scripts, books, and other materials as it relates to the development of our drama series (i.e. Vikings, Knightfall, Project Blue Book) and unscripted series (Curse of Oak Island, Forged in Fire, etc).
YOUR STORY:
• Rising junior, senior currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and legally eligible to work in the U.S. may apply
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media are strongly preferred
• A passion for History and an interest in scripted and unscripted programming
