THE ROLE: Fulfillment Technician
A+E Networks Production Services Department is seeking a Fulfillment Technician in Stamford, CT production facility.
The Fulfillment Technician will join a team of a team of highly motivated business professionals to perform the encoding & media preparation in support of A+E Networks' non-linear fulfillment of longform programming, specifically for C3 distribution, across global platforms and high-profile digital partners. This includes DTO, VOD, TVE, AVOD, OTT, SVOD, Brand Sites and cross-platforms apps and devices, both domestically and internationally.
Flexibility for nights & weekends are required
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Responsible for the normalization, modification and preparation of file-based content of A+E programming content, advertising & promotional materials into the required mezzanine and streaming file formats for non-linear distribution to client platforms; both internally and externally.
• Responsible for the preparation & posting of ancillary video package media assets and information, video screen grabs & external closed-caption files.
• Responsible for the pre-delivery technical Q/C of all mezzanine media assets in preparation for digital distribution.
• Support the Manager and Supervisor, relating to the timely and accurate end to end fulfillment of all short form digital media assets and their respective video/XML metadata for AETN content to our various digital distribution channels.
• Other assigned duties as necessary.

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• 4-year Bachelor's degree in TV/Film or Media Related Program and/or 2-4 years related job experience in the Media Industry.
• 2+ years in project management.
• 3+ years experience within digital publishing environment a plus.
• Strong Knowledge of video formats & codecs.
• Experience with XML metadata and video encoding technologies, a plus.
• Experience with digital delivery protocols & technologies, a plus (FTP, SFTP, Aspera, Signiant)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proactive work ethic while maintaining a keen focus on accuracy in a detailed oriented workflow a must.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills a must, in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
