POSITION SUMMARY
Join the A E People Team as we embark on an exciting journey to find, grow and keep great talent. As the Head of People Management & Learning you will develop and implement innovative, creative, high-impact people management and learning strategies that enable organizational rigor and agility to drive outstanding business performance. In this new position you will collaborate with People Partners, Total Rewards, HCM & People Analytics, and employees and managers to evolve and scale our learning solutions and development programs. Additionally you will lead Performance Management and People Review & Succession, exploring best in class practices for a continuous feedback culture and making talent an ongoing strategic discussion.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evolve and scale ME , A E's global learning framework, and develop skills and capabilities to address gaps and align with growth strategy including management & leadership development and diversity and conscious inclusion offerings for multiple employee audiences.
• Lead and implement a modern performance management process having recently experimented with shifting away from traditional annual ratings and reviews towards greater focus on goal planning (using OKRs) and feedback and coaching.
• Reimagine and drive the people (talent) review & succession planning including identification, engagement and growth strategies of high potential and emerging talent. Build tools, processes and communication plans that support these work streams.
• Develop and implement people management processes and build capability models to leverage within people lifecycle: on-boarding, promotion, retention, performance management, people review and succession.
• Partner within the People Team to assess and develop specific learning approaches to meet specific division or functional needs including leadership coaching and external offerings.
• Provide research, analysis, consultation and recommendations for continuous improvement through key industry subscriptions, conferences and external networking/benchmarking.
• Manage learning registration portal and communication process, as well as, timely employee nomination submission to external industry leadership programs.
Qualification Requirements Key Qualifications
• 10 years in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Inclusion & Diversity, L&D and Organization Effectiveness experience.
• Subject matter expert understanding learning & development solutions, leadership development and competency application.
• Experience in facilitation, coaching, and leading team/organizations in performance improvement strategies that result in higher performance.
• Coaching certification and experience facilitating a variety of assessment and personality tools and methods.
• Must be able to flex between hands-on and strategic operating; serve as a senior level individual contributor tapping into the broader People Team and organization to get things done.
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree
MBA, Masters in Human Resources, or PHD is a plus Other Skills and Knowledge TBD
