THE ROLE: Associate Producer, History en Español
A+E Networks prides itself on innovative storytelling that resonates with global audiences and makes a difference in their lives. As an Associate Producer for History en Español, you'll apply your production know-how and language skills to assist with the post-production and mastering for our broadcast, nonlinear and social platforms to support this growing brand. This role is based in our Stamford CT facility and reports to the History en Español Supervising Producer
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Excellent organizational skills – you'll be responsible for actively managing your assignment schedule to ensure that deadlines are met, reaching out to your supervisor for assistance when needed. You'll coordinate delivery of materials to third party vendors and to our edit facility, and screen and prepare materials for edit.
You'll supervise edit sessions when required; and will be responsible for maintaining detailed edit session and mastering records for both supervised and unsupervised sessions as well as entering relevant metadata into our asset management systems.
Communication and language skills - you're fluent in both English and Spanish, and able to communicate clearly and effectively with your supervising producer, team members and key stakeholders to keep workflows on track, resolve problems, and ensure that deadlines and mastering standards are met successfully.
Develop a strong technical foundation - In this role, you'll be responsible for making sure that our History en Español masters meet our global quality standards. You'll need to have a solid understanding of video and audio standards and learn the fundamentals of our Avid post production environment.

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• 2-5 years of professional experience in production/post-production in a cable or network environment or equivalent/related experience.
• Bi-lingual, fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Bachelor's degree in Television Production/Communication or equivalent.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to work evening and/or weekend hours when required
