THE ROLE: Associate Benefits Manager
Support the Total Rewards team with the administration of A+E Network's benefits plans and contribute to implementations and re-design efforts to enhance the programs we offer, as well as communicate and educate employees on these plans. This role will report to the Senior Benefits Manager.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Develop and coordinate the A+E wellness program, including management and reconciliation of wellness budget.
• Acts as the liaison/advocate in the execution of benefit strategic vision and serves on the Wellness Committee.
• Drafts all benefits emails to the organization, and updates employee benefit communications including the new hire benefits guide.
• Facilitate new hire orientations.
• Works closely with vendors on day to day administration of health and welfare plans.
• Manages employee leave administration.
• Works closely with the People Partners to address employee benefits related questions.
• Provides support in the development of open enrollment communications and plan design changes.
• Administers Workday employee approvals and updates, and conducts end-user testing.
• Review and reconcile monthly benefits invoices.
• Works closely with the Payroll team on benefits changes and payroll reconciliations.
• Assists with new vendor implementations.
• Creates initial drafts of all benefit communications.
• Ensures compliance with benefit regulations by reviewing required employee information for accuracy and ensuring data is submitted on time (e.g. 1095cs)

• 2-3 years employee benefits experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Sense of Humor
• BA/BS Degree
