Wondros' portfolio includes projects for organizations like Open Society Foundations, the National Institutes of Health, the University of Pittsburgh, MD Anderson, The Getty Foundation, The Guggenheim Museum, and TED, as well as film production for innovators such as the Clinton Global Initiative, IBM, the Council on Foreign Relations, MIT Media Lab, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
We are seeking an experienced Post Production Coordinator to join our team. The Post Production Coordinator works directly with the Director of Post Production, and is a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the post production department.
Responsibilities:
- Work with editors, assistant editors, colorists, graphics artists, vault manager, and other internal resources to ensure that information and files are appropriately shepherded throughout the post process
- Communicate with external vendors (such as sound mix or VFX facilities) to ensure smooth logistical and technical workflow
- Manage uploads and circulate links to appropriate parties for review processes and final deliveries
- QC all files before distribution
- Track and license stock footage, music, and images
- Keep database of deliverables and versions for each project
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in similar position in high-volume, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder, and familiarity with other Creative Cloud applications such as After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Familiarity with best practices for Assistant Editing work such as footage ingest, organization, and transcoding. Experience as an AE a plus.
- Strong knowledge of digital codecs and their appropriate applications
- Standard hours are Monday-Friday 9-6, but must be available to work overtime if needed including evenings or weekends
